Prestolee SCITT’S North West Train to Teach Event 

 

Are you considering a career as a teacher? Are you currently exploring the different routes into teaching and feeling a bit overwhelmed and confused by all of the options?

Come along to Prestolee SCITT’S North West Train to Teach Event on Saturday 18th June between 10am and 2pm to meet us and a whole host of other local teacher training providers and let us help you on your journey to the classroom. 

The event will give you the opportunity to:

• put your questions to expert advisors, teachers and training providers
• walk around a local primary school and chat with current teachers and trainee teachers and find out what a career in teaching is really like

• get one-to-one advice on your application, including advice on your personal statement and interview tips
• a step-by-step guide on how to get into teaching, the application process and funding your training
