We have 3 programmes, with a choice to teach either:

3-7 (EYFS and Key Stage 1) or 5-11 (Key Stages 1 & 2)

Full-Time: Primary – Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with PGCE (CODE 2TD9)
Full-Time: Primary – Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) only (CODE 2TD8)
Part-Time: Primary – Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) only (CODE Q254)

For our full-time programmes you will be given the option to select to apply to our Greater Manchester, Oldham and Yorkshire or Merseyside hub.

What happens next?

Once your application has been received it will be sent to us for review. You will receive notification as to whether you have secured an interview with us. For those who are unsuccessful at this stage, you will be provided with feedback.

Before you apply

Check what qualifications you’ll need.

To apply to one of our courses you will need the following or equivalents:

• a Degree
• grade 4 (C) or above in English, Maths and Science GCSEs
  
  

If you do not have GCSE grade 4 (C) in one or more of these subjects, you’ll need to show that you can meet an equivalent level. Prestolee SCITT now offers equivalency testing. For more information on our equivalency programme please visit prestoleescitt.co.uk/equivalency-testing.

 

Once you have secured a place on one of our programmes you’ll need to:

• confirm you have the health and physical capacity to start training 
• complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
• Provide physical copies of your qualification certificates or a certified statement of results
